Professional Prep, Grinding Not Acid Etch
The number one cause of coating failure is bad prep. We grind every surface with commercial diamond grinders and HEPA vacuums so the coating bonds correctly.
Shop and warehouse floors
Shops and warehouses are our favorite floors to coat. They’re wide open, the slab is usually solid, and the difference when we finish is huge. We grind the concrete, fix cracks and spalls, and install a system that handles forklifts, rolling tool chests, and fluid drips.
Coating or polished concrete?
It depends on what the floor has to do. A coating gives you color, a sealed surface that wipes clean, and chemical resistance. For heavy traffic, we add a high-wear urethane topcoat over our epoxy base. Polished concrete has no coating on top to wear off. The concrete itself can get scratched, but we can buff it back out.
