Grind-First Prep

Why Ours Lasts

Epoxy Only Fails for One Reason: Bad Prep

Almost every peeling garage floor we’re called to fix started with an acid etch or a box-store kit. Acid leaves residue behind and barely opens the surface, so the coating sits on top of the slab instead of bonding into it.

We diamond-grind every floor with HEPA-vac equipment, repair cracks and pits, then build the coating in layers. It costs us more time. It’s the reason we can put a 10-year warranty in writing: if a floor ever peels, we fix it free.

Residential & Commercial

Epoxy Flooring Built for Prescott Homes and Businesses

Prescott’s four-season climate is hard on concrete. Hot summers, cold winters, and freeze-thaw cycles cause bare garage and patio slabs to crack, stain, and pit over time. A professional epoxy coating seals the concrete, resists chemicals and impact, and wipes clean with a mop.

Garage Floor Coatings

Our most popular service. Full-flake, solid color, and custom designs that stand up to hot tires, oil, and daily traffic.

Residential Epoxy Floors

Epoxy isn’t just for garages. We coat basements, laundry rooms, patios, and other interior and exterior concrete around your home for a seamless, low-maintenance finish.

Commercial Epoxy Flooring

Warehouses, showrooms, retail, restaurants, and healthcare spaces need flooring that takes a beating and stays clean, with minimal downtime during install.

Coating Systems

Coating Systems We Install

Every system goes down over the same grind-first prep. The difference is look, texture, and how much traffic the floor takes. We also install micro topping and waterproof deck systems, plus concrete polishing and staining for floors beyond epoxy.

Full-Flake

The most popular garage floor we install. Full broadcast flake hides dirt, adds grip, and comes in dozens of blends.

Solid Color

Clean, uniform, easy to sweep. A good fit for shops, storage rooms, and anyone who wants a simple finish.

Quartz Systems

Broadcast quartz for slip resistance and serious durability. Common in commercial kitchens, restrooms, and wet areas.

Epoxy Pebble

Natural stone bound in epoxy. Textured, decorative, and a favorite for patios, walkways, and pool decks.

Where We Install It

Garages: Our bread and butter. One, two, three-car, and detached shops.

Basements & laundry rooms: Sealed, bright, and easy to mop.

Patios & walkways: UV-stable systems that handle Prescott sun and monsoon rain.

Commercial floors: Warehouses, showrooms, auto shops, restaurants, and medical spaces.

What Epoxy Stands Up To

Hot tires: No lifting or peeling where your vehicle parks.

Oil, gas, and chemicals: Wipes off instead of soaking into the concrete.

Impact and abrasion: Dropped tools and rolling jacks don’t chip it.

Freeze-thaw: Sealed slabs stop absorbing water, which is what cracks them.

10-Year Warranty

Professional Prep, Grinding Not Acid Etch

The number one cause of coating failure is bad prep. We grind every surface with commercial diamond grinders and HEPA vacuums so the coating bonds correctly.

2-Day Installation

We fill hairline cracks, profile the slab, and use industrial equipment for a fast turnaround. Most garage floors are finished in about two days.

The Honest Difference

Epoxy Paint vs. Professional Epoxy Coating

A lot of homeowners search for “epoxy paint” expecting a quick fix from a box-store kit. DIY epoxy paint is thin, single-coat, and usually peels within a year or two, especially under hot tires.

A professional epoxy coating is a multi-layer system installed over properly ground concrete, so it bonds for the long haul. If you’re weighing your options, read our guide on epoxy paint and what to know before your project, then visit the showroom to compare real samples.

You Have Questions, We Have Answers

Prescott Epoxy Flooring FAQs

Epoxy paint is a thin, DIY-style product that often peels. A professional epoxy coating is a multi-layer system installed over ground concrete, which is why it lasts years longer.

Cost depends on square footage, the prep the slab needs, and the finish you choose, so we don’t guess over the phone. See our Prescott epoxy flooring cost guide for ballpark pricing, or call for a free quote. Financing is available on approved credit.

Acid etching leaves residue and a weak surface profile, which is why those floors peel. Grinding opens the concrete mechanically so the coating bonds into the slab, not just onto it.

Most garage floors take two days: grinding and repairs on day one, coating and flake on day two. We tell you exactly when you can walk and park on it before we start.

With proper prep and commercial-grade materials, 10 to 20 years. Every installation carries a 10-year warranty covering chipping and peeling from normal vehicle traffic and wear.

Yes for enclosed garages, where we control temperature during cure. Outdoor patios and walkways get scheduled around the weather.

No. We coat residential basements, laundry rooms, patios, and other interior and exterior concrete, along with commercial and industrial floors.
